What changed in the 2026 redistricting?

Louisiana’s 2026 congressional plan added part of Terrebonne Parish to District 1 and removed the district’s portions of Ascension, Livingston, and St. Charles parishes. Boundaries also shifted within Jefferson, Lafourche, Orleans, St. Bernard, and Tangipahoa parishes.
